The role of the innovation manager in municipalities is crucial for driving forward-thinking and transformative initiatives that enhance municipal services for residents. . Unlike the more established position of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the role of the innovation manager is relatively new and less defined, evolving to meet the dynamic needs of modern urban management and reflecting the different structures, challenges, and characteristics of each municipality.
Our community was established to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among its members, promote peer learning, and support the professional growth of innovation managers. Founded in 2021. This network holds regular meetings, seminars, city tours, and conferences where members can exchange ideas and learn from each other's experiences and knowledge. Additionally, the community acts as an ongoing rapid consulting "hotline" and a hub of lively discussions through an open chat.
